A very sincere thank you to emergency responders to the Goose Pond Marina Fire this morning.

There were no injuries and boat residents were safely evacuated.

A quick and effective response coupled with metal marina construction and burn out roof panels helped contain major damage or loss to five boats.

Again, a sincere thank you to Scottsboro Fire Dept., Scottsboro Police Dept., Hollywood Fire Dept., Scottsboro-Jackson County Rescue Squad, Jackson County EMA, Highlands EMS, Goose Pond Staff and Tow Boat US.
