Meet Mayor Jim McCamy
Mayor Jim McCamy is the 29th Mayor of the City of Scottsboro. Elected in August of 2020 Mayor McCamy is committed to creating jobs and ensuring a diverse economic base.
With a focus and commitment to teamwork, McCamy works collaboratively and cooperatively within the city council and leadership at the County, State, and Federal level. I was born and raised in Scottsboro and my roots run deep in our community. I raised all three of my children here, where they graduated from the Scottsboro school system. My experience in serving and protecting the public throughout my career, along with my experience with economic development in North Alabama, has prepared me to serve as the Mayor of Scottsboro. I know how vital it is to work with local, state and federal leaders to make sure our issues are heard and addressed.
