Trade Days
Trade Day in Scottsboro is Scottsboro’s oldest tradition. Its a day for local craftsman, food vendors, and anyone to come sell or trade their items.
Civic Center
The Center is perfect for formal or banquet style dining. The facility will make your special event a memorable one.
Becoming a Vendor
- Becoming a vendor is easy! First, vendors must sign up for Trade Day using one of our vendor registration forms. Online forms for our events can be found on our Facebook page or by using one of the link in the “Trade Days 2021 Schedule” Section on this page. Or, you can print out a form and send it to us. The printable version of the registration form is here. Send all printed registration forms to P.O. Box 921 Scottsboro, Al 35768.
- The cost for each event is $35.00; vendors may pay online (link located in the online registration form), or may with a cash or check before the event or the day of the event. If you are mailing your payment, please mail it to P.O. Box 921 Scottsboro, Al 35768, or you can drop it by Scottsboro City Hall (316 South Broad Street, Scottsboro, Al 35768).
- All of the proceeds from Trade Day go towards Main Street Scottsboro’s efforts in revitalizing downtown. This is done through Trade Day events, design projects that improve the streetscape of downtown, and through business promotion and business recruitment in the downtown.

Trade Days
Trade Day in Scottsboro is Scottsboro’s oldest tradition. Originally called “First Monday” because it was held on the first Monday of the month, Trade Day is a day for local craftsman, food vendors, and anyone who wants to come sell or trade their items. It is held the on the Saturday before the first Monday of each month in Downtown Scottsboro on the courthouse square. You can find antiques, farm equipment, food, knives, handmade crafts, clothes, baskets, antiques, plants, furniture, and just about anything else. You never know what you might find at Trade Day in Scottsboro! Trade Day is one of the initiatives of Main Street Scottsboro. Main Street Scottsboro is part of the larger Main Street Alabama network and is proud to support and plan each Trade Day. Interested in joining in on Trade Day?
