The City of Scottsboro Sanitation Department will not collect garbage or recycling on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026. Residential sanitation routes will resume following the holiday schedule.

Residents are asked to have all garbage and recycling placed curbside by 6:00 a.m. on their scheduled collection day to ensure pickup.
