Building Permit Online Application

The City of Scottsboro is pleased to offer residents, builders, and the business community in our area Cloudpermit. It’s an online system to apply for and track your building and planning permits.

What is Cloudpermit?

Cloudpermit is a cloud-based internet service that is free to use. It allows applicants to complete the appropriate application or licence and upload required documents for electronic submission. The first time you use it, you’ll be asked to create an account and a confirmation email will be sent to you. This email might go to your trash or junk folder so if you don’t see it in your inbox, please check there. Follow the instructions provided by Cloudpermit to complete the registration process.

The Cloudpermit system allows you to apply for and see the status of your application anywhere, at any time. You can start an application and finish it later and receive email updates on the status of your application. You can even request building inspections!

Applicants can also pay for their permits online.
