The Scottsboro Police Department is proud to announce that we will be hosting our annual Citizen’s Academy for 2026!

This 8-week program is a great opportunity for members of our community to connect with our officers and gain a deeper understanding of what we do each day. Throughout the academy, participants will learn about various aspects of law enforcement through hands-on instruction and presentations led by members of our agency.

Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a ride along with an officer, offering a real world look into daily operations and responsibilities.
