|Storm Shelter Information|
The City of Scottsboro has implemented a Storm Shelter Registration Program. This is a voluntary program designed to help emergency response personnel account for the citizens following a disaster event. Registering your storm shelter will assist rescuers in locating and rendering aid to your family after a weather-related emergency.
The Scottsboro Fire Department and Emergency Management Coordinator encourage citizens of Scottsboro with in-ground or above ground storm shelters to register the address and exact location of their storm shelters as soon as possible. Your registration information will be entered into a database and only used to help first responders gain access to you in the event you become trapped or injured and unable to exit your storm shelter.
