Jessica Butler was born in Molena, GA and moved to Scottsboro in 2013. Jessica is married to Bo Butler, Director of Therapy Services for Highlands Medical Center. They live in the Lakeview Shores Community with their two children Render and Ivy. Jessica has a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine and is certified in X-ray, mammography and bone densitometry. She also holds her real estate license for both Georgia and Alabama. Jessica is Marketing Director for Highlands Medical Center.
Jessica is a member of Scottsboro Junior Progress, and serves by fundraising for city and county senior scholarships, education grants and many other community programs such as Christmas Charities, Drug Court and Celebrate Recovery. Jessica also serves on the board for Beauty and the Beast of Jackson County. The Beauty and the Beast foundation is a local non-profit serving men and women of Jackson County who are diagnosed with breast cancer.
Butler was also named as an Ambassador for Susan G. Komen of North Alabama. She has written and received grants from Komen for the past two years to help support breast cancer patients of Jackson County. Butler is now on the board for Susan G. Komen of North Alabama. Jessica also serves on the PTO committee for Caldwell Elementary.
"I would like to be involved with Scottsboro's progression into a new age of technology, industry and recreational opportunities. We have a great city and council in place. I look forward to working with the citizens and other council members to impact the growth and prosperity of our great community," Jessica said.
