An orientation for the test is conducted 8 weeks before the test. The candidate must attend the orientation to take the test. The time limit to complete the test is 10 minutes 20 seconds. The test consists of stair climb, hose drag, equipment carry, ladder raise and extension, forcible entry, search, rescue, and ceiling breach and pull.
